I highly recommend Baby Safe Homes to all my patients, and anyone who has a child. Not only is Baby Safe Homes convenient and efficient (they completed my house while I went out to breakfast), they provide a life-saving service. They are experts in babyproofing- so they find hazards in your home whilch you may not even think about. I am a Pediatrician, and even I would have missed some of the baby-proofing which they did. The quality of their products are also superior to many products found in the stores.

Many people put-off baby proofing because they do not have the time- there is absolutely no excuse for that. I have taken care of patients who have their babies fall down stairs, choke on door stoppers, and pull down furniture onto themselves. This can be prevented. And the service is very affordable- the only additional cost versus doing it yopurself is the labor cost (the cost of all products is the same as buying them at the store). It would have cost me more to repair all the damage I would have done to my cabinets and walls!

Thank you for helping us babyproof our new home. I loved that you gave us all the options and didn't push anything on us and allowed us to pick what we felt was necessary. Also, I couldn't believe how quick everything was finished- within a few days of speaking with you, you came out and installed everything in just 2 hours! Our stair gates look and work great! Baby Safe Homes did a consultation where they reviewed my home and made suggestions on baby-proofing. Then they installed baby-proofing equipment, including gates on the top and bottom of my stairs, latches on all drawers and cabinets, covers for my electrical outlets, a carbon monoxide detector, and straps to keep the kids furniture to the wall. They did a great job! I would highly recommend them. They were incredibly efficient. Robert scheduled my appointment within a week of my call, showed up on time, and did the entire job within 3 hours. He didn't try to sell me on lots of baby-proofing stuff. He listened to what I thought my needs were, gave some extra suggestions, and didn't press at all when I declined some of his suggestions like toilet latches. I thought it was pricey, but I should have done this from the start and not bought hundreds of dollars of baby-proofing stuff that we never got around to installing. I'm very happy with the result.

Baby Safe Homes was an absolute pleasure to work with. I felt so overwhelmed by the process of babyproofing I procrastinated until my 8 month old was on the go. Within a few short days of my initial call Baby Safe Homes came out, gave me the guidance I needed, and proofed my entire house with top of the line products all within a 2 1/2 hour period. I would have made such a mess of the job had I done it myself I think I actually saved money in the long run. I can actually get more done now without constantly stopping to chase my son!

Thank you for supplying us with only what we needed. Another company who gave us a "free" estimate was pushy and tried to oversell us. Then they said it would be two to three weeks before they could come back and do the installation. Robert was extremely professional, courteous and profoundly believes in his work.

Since Robert installed all of our baby proofing gadgets, my husband and I have been able to relax knowing that the harmful kitchenware and personal items are now locked away. Three years later, my son rarely goes to open those cabinets. He now understands that they are locked away for safety reasons.

I was hesitant to hire someone to childproof my home especially after we received an estimate from another company. They wanted to sell us everything. When we spoke with Robert on the phone, he sounded so reasonable that we had him come out to the house. We showed him the competitors estimate and he eliminated about 40% right off the bat. He explained many of the products that were recommended by the other company that were either not necessary or overkill. Robert completed the work that day in about 4 hours for almost half the price of the original estimate. I am sure glad we found your company.

As a grandparent, we were not sure how to baby proof in our home. My granddaughter visits us three to four times a year so we did not want to turn our home up-side-down but we wanted it safe for when she visits. WOW! What service. When you told me you offered same day installation, I was thrilled but skeptical. Once Baby Safe Homes got to my house, they did a thorough inspection and recommended only the items I needed. One company tried to scare me into buyisng products and smelled like a tobacco factory. Another company barely did an inspection and only wanted to install the basics. Baby Safe Homes had the perfect balance of safety and sanity. They were even nice enough to ask if the baby was going down for a nap so they could work around her schedule. They babyproofed Sara's room first so I could put her down at nap time. The work was completed within three hours and they left my home as clean as they found it. All the products are better quality than we could find in any store and are easy to use.

I have recommend Baby Safe Homes to several of my friends and neighbors and they have all called me to thank me for the recommendation. If you need your home babyproofed, I would highly recommend using Baby Safe Homes.

On the very day I moved into my new home, my one year old started walking. My elated proud-mama feelings quickly turned into fear and anxiety.

You see, he didn't just start to walk that day. He was practically running. He also immediately learned that being upright allows you access to a whole lot more stuff. He might have been excited about his newfound mobility, but all I could think of was how everything in my new house was a potential death-trap.

I needed help from the experts.

But when I looked up local baby proofing services in Orange County, I could only find two - BooBoo Busters and Baby Safe Homes. Baby Safe Homes didn't list Orange as a city they work in, so I called BooBoo Busters. It initially took them a few days to get back to me and, when they finally did, the customer service rep was having problems figuring out a time they could come out. He finally said they could come out in a week. I thought that seemed a little long, but I went ahead and booked an appointment. The evening before they were due to come out, the owner left me a message saying they couldn't make it after all because they were having a party and could they reschedule for the following week.

Whatever.

As soon as I heard that message, I called Baby Safe Homes. Robert, the owner, must have heard the desperation in my voice. Even though he does not normally work as far north as Orange (they are located in Carlsbad), he said he could stop by in the morning. Wow! I was immediately happy that I called (and wished I had called in the first place!).

Robert called the next morning and said he could stop by even earlier than expected. He was so friendly and wonderful to work with. After an assessment of my house, he was able to complete the work in about one hour. He also pointed out some issues that I had not thought of and he gave me some great suggestions. I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality and amount of work he completed.

I highly recommend Baby Safe Homes simply because they have what the other company lacks - excellent and friendly customer service. And, when you've got an infant or toddler on the loose, people that actually care to get the work done right away are much appreciated!

On my previous airplane trip with my first baby, I did not know any better than to drag my big, heavy car seat along with me. Unpacking it from the car, bagging it up and dragging through the airport then wrestling it onto the plane, literally injured my back. I have had to visit the chiropractor ever since.

This year I am traveling pregnant with a toddler to the East Coast for Thanksgiving. At the last minute I realize I can not do the whole car seat nightmare all over again so I searched on-line for a solution (keep in mind my flight leaves in two days). I learn about the CARES Child Restraint Aviation Harness which allows me to buckle my toddler into the airplane and avoid bringing my car seat. I click on "where to buy" on their site and the only retailer in my area is Baby Safe Homes.

I give them a call and I have to say, they are some of the nicest, most helpful people around. They were informative, professional, and waited for me so I could come pick the harness up right away.
